Cheryl Watson Smith JD, has been in the private practice of law in Roanoke, Virginia since 1988 and practices in the area of family law, including complex property matters. Through mediation, the Collaborative Divorce Process, and negotiated settlements, she assists families to resolve dispute without going to court. Ms. Smith is on the faculty of the Collaborative Practice Training Institute and is a mediator, certified by the Supreme Court of Virginia since 1995. She currently serves as Member Services Committee Chair of the Virginia Collaborative Professionals. She previously served on the Interim Executive Committee and Council of the Virginia Collaborative Professionals, on the Virginia State Bar Family Law Section Board of Governors and on the Virginia Bar Association Domestic Relations Section Council and as President of the Roanoke Valley Family Law Bar Association. She is a frequent presenter at Collaborative Practice, Family Law, and Mediation programs. Ms. Smith has been selected as a Virginia Super Lawyer, by Super Lawyers in the areas of Collaborative Law or Alternate Dispute Resolution, 2007-2016.

Robyn Walker is a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst. She has been working as a Financial Neutral in Collaborative divorces since 2014. She also works with divorcing couples and individuals in other types of divorce. Robyn began her career as an investment advisor in 2004. In addition to her divorce financial designation, Robyn is a Certified Financial Planner. As a CFP, she helps people make financial decisions as they face some of the transitions in life, such as retirement, loss of a spouse, sending children to college, and changes in needs due to health issues. Susan Witt, is Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She has been licensed in Virginia since 1989 and has over 30 years experience in the mental health field. She is the owner of Comprehensive Counseling Services in Roanoke,VA. Ms. Witt has extensive experience in providing diagnostic and counseling services to children, adolescents, adults, and families presenting with a wide variety of difficulties. She has extensive training and experience in treating children and adults with mood and anxiety disorders, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, trauma, separation/divorce custody/visitation issues. Ms. Witt has been trained in the Collaborative Divorce Process since 2008. Ms. Witt has served in the role of communications coach or child specialist in numerous Collaborative cases. She has co led trainings and public education seminars on the Collaborative Divorce Process. Ms. Witt is a Past President of VA. Society for Clinical Social Work and current Roanoke Chapter Co-chair.
